Lauren Eppinger N.P.
Lauren Eppinger, PNP, IBCLC is board certified as a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Lauren completed her undergraduate education at Bennington College in Vermont, and a Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University. After years of traveling and learning Spanish, Lauren transitioned into providing pediatric healthcare for Spanish-speaking families with a Global Health Fellowship in rural Guatemala in 2010. Since then, Lauren has worked in various clinical settings including pediatric primary care and after hours, lactation and feeding consults, and pediatric neurology. Lauren has been caring for children at Academy Children's Clinic since 2019. Lauren's clinical interests include caring for families with young children, children with eczema, asthma, and other complex chronic medical conditions. Lauren incorporates lactation support into her pediatric practice whenever needed and is available for a limited number of consultations for our patients as well.  Since relocating from the Boston area in 2018, Lauren has lived in East Nashville with her husband and three young children.

The family has a sweet sleepy elderly dog (Han Solo), two very active guinea pigs, and four very well-behaved fish.
