Valerie Martin M.D.

Dr. Valerie Martin is a board-certified pediatrician and member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She grew up in Indiana and then attended Butler University for her undergraduate degree and Indiana University School of Medicine for medical school. She moved to Rochester, Minnesota, to complete her pediatric residency at the Mayo Clinic. After completing her pediatric residency, Valerie was hired by the Mayo Clinic as an outpatient pediatrician where she worked for two years and subsequently worked as an outpatient pediatrician in Charlotte, North Carolina, for four and a half years. Valerie moved with her family to the Nashville area to be closer to family and was excited to accept a position at Academy Children’s Clinic. She loves spending time with her husband and two daughters. Valerie enjoys being outside hiking, biking, running, and swimming. She learned to speak Spanish through her undergraduate and medical studies which included educational experiences in Spain and Honduras. Valerie is accepting new patients.
